Norton ghost 15 stops at 94




















Do I just post them here? I'm running the backups again right now after removing some programs no longer in use. May be this afternoon before I get you the doc. I am seeing this in the logs for the D: drive - I assume you already saw this as per your last post.

I am unable to delete the job or change the settings, neither of which is allowed as the job is running. Stopping Norton Ghost and rebooting didn't work either it just picks up where it left off when Ghost is restarted.

This happens whether I specify running missed jobs or not. It has been running since 27th Nov as I hoped if I left it it would sort itself out, obviously it didn't.

What do you suggest, the only idea I have left is to delete Norton Ghost and reinstall, but what happens to my old backups. Don't tell me it'll find them when reinstalled, because I know from past exerience it doesn't. As piece of software I am very unhappy with Ghost, because I have never known a piece of software with so many bugs. It shouldn't be necessary to uninstall Ghost,if you clear the history by stopping the Norton Service then you should be able to delete the backups and all history and schedules.

Read this post Here for instructions. Also keep in mind that even though the backups are no longer shown in history, they are still usable. I move them to another folder before you restart the Ghost service though. Just a couple of questions. How big is the backup you are trying to run and where is the destination? PS: Like the username.
