I went to their site and a download was available for the and Windows 7. It detected I had Windows 7 64 bit and offered a download. Perhaps I am mistaken. It's not the driver, just a monitoring Config program of some sort.
I just spent about one hour with two different Epson techs and they both confirmed that Epson has not bothered to make a driver for Windows 7. They suggested I try the driver for Vista, but that didn't work. I was just hoping for a better solution. Wow, at 17 mb I was sure it would include a driver. If not, how dumb. On the other hand I talked to two Epson techs the other day about a problem and they BOTH were so dumb they couldn't even understand the problem - and offered really dumb "solutions".
By the way, English was NOT their native language. Not even close! I heard that the vista driver works but you need to also install the epson status monitor utility for it to work properly. But, I had no trouble installing the latest 64 bit driver with win 7. In fact, I'm now using it with win 8. You have to turn off driver signing when you install the drivers and I did install status monitor, but it works fine. I ran PrintFab for awhile on 8. I might try it again, but I constantly had problems with page orientation being wrong. I hope they have fixed that in the latest beta. I am not at all happy that Epson abandoned these professional lever printers so soon.
